About

Tirtha Studio is the photographic practice of Enrique de Caso, working between India and Sri Lanka.

The prints collected here come from a personal archive of editorial work, travel, portraits, objects, streets, rituals, rooms, gestures, shadows and strange visual coincidences found in ordinary life.

The work sits between documentary photography and magical realism. Nothing is forced into fantasy. The images begin from the real world: a wall, a body, a reflection, a fabric, a face, a small arrangement of things that briefly seems to carry meaning.

Some works belong to Found Omens, an ongoing series of photographs where daily life appears to arrange itself into signs, symbols or almost-messages.

Each print is made as a physical object, not as disposable content. Selected images are released as signed archival prints in small editions, made to live slowly in rooms, on walls, and in private collections.
